LMCC support for the The Ampersand Review, The & Festival, and the Creative Writing & Publishing Program at Sheridan College.
- In November 2024, Sheridan College announced the suspension of 40 programs, including the Honours Bachelor of Creative Writing & Publishing. LMCC has sent a letter to the Sheridan College president, provost, and board of governors emphasizing the vital role of creative writing programs, magazines, and festivals. LMCC calls on Sheridan College to reverse this decision and continue vital support for the CW&P program, The Ampersand Review and The & Festival..
