Brick, A Literary Journal
Brick is a twice-yearly journal of literary non-fiction, publishing what obsesses writers, fuels their practice, invigorates their imaginations, and imbues them with awe. Hosting essays, interviews, memoir, travelogues, belles lettres, and unsung ephemera from all over the continent and around the world, Brick is known as Canada’s international literary magazine, and as such, we welcome diverse voices charting broad imaginings, current conversations, underserved ideas, urgent passions, and beautiful, thoughtful, difficult, or irreverent art. Our role is to place the work of writers within Canada in an international context, bringing them into conversation with writers around the world.
